It is with great sadness that we have closed our operations effective September 30, 2011 due to a lack of resources.
Ted Caine has retired and due to some board members health and other concerns we are unable to continue this great work we started.
All automatic donations were ceased as of September 30, 2011. All remaining funds will be dispersed to the remaining charities or people in need that we have on our website until the funds have been depleted.
If you are still having amounts deducted from your account or charged on your credit card please call the bank or credit card company immediately to stop your payments.We sent out an email to this effect October 3, 2011. We understand some members did not receive the email regarding these automatic withdrawals/charges. Our apologizes if you did not receive it, however if you so wish we can refund any payment received after September 30, 2011.

We were fortunate to help as many people as we did in such a short period of time.We changed many lives with the generous donations and support from all of our members and donors.Numerous people that we have assisted have “paid it forward”, continuing our desire to make small changes towards a better world.

Citizens Care is structured as a ‘Giving Circle’, an organization in which Citizens pool resources and cooperatively select local individuals, families or groups to which they will donate funds or other resources to ease the suffering of individual or groups of citizens when and where they are most needed.
